Brenda

Born in Worcester, Ma and still here!  I have my B.S. from WSU in Health Sciences. AFAA certified for 30 years!  I have worked in the area and managed several Corporate sites as Exercise Specialist and Wellness Manager. I teach many styles of classes from Cardio, Step, HIIT, Bootcamp, Cardio Fusion, Spinning, Yoga and Pilates.  If I'm not teaching indoors, you can find me running, hiking or MTB on the trails.  Summer is for Kayaking and SUP Yoga. I love to share my enthusiasm for Fitness and Mindfulness.

I've run over 100 road marathons, Many trail Ultras, and mountain running.  Yes, I love talking about Fitness/Wellness and moving daily.   I learn more about myself by helping others, and together we can have a healthy mind and body connection. Live, Love, Explore. "Mindfulness gives you time.  Time gives you choices.  Choices, skillfully made, lead to freedom- Bhante Henepola Gunaratana.

Danielle

Licensed to teach both Zumba and Zumba Toning, I’ve been an instructor for four years. Because of my career as a medical editor, I’ve always valued the importance of exercise and its many benefits. A Latin-inspired dance-fitness program, Zumba provides a fantastic way to combine FUN with fitness: I love watching my students lose themselves in the music while they torch calories and build strength, endurance, and confidence.

Having over 20 years of experience I am able to assist you in meeting your wellness goals. I hold a BS in Physical Education and an MSed in Adapted Physical Education from SUNY Brockport. I currently serve as the Assistant Director/Fitness Center Manager with the department of Athletics and Wellness at Worcester State University.

Heather

Since starting DDPY in 2012, I’ve seen tremendous changes in my balance, strength, and flexibility. I enjoy challenging myself to see what I can do next, whether it’s an inversion, a tricky position, or a workout that seems particularly tough. My goal is to help you find the same mental and physical strength to “namaslay” everything and own your life!

My workouts are suitable for all fitness levels – no yoga experience necessary!

Joanne -  Pink Gloves Boxing

Pink Gloves Boxing is an empowering, weekly, fitness program for women looking to live healthier lives and relieve stress in a fun environment. As a WSU student, attending this class was the highlight of my week. It boosted my confidence and introduced me to a strong community of friends and mentors that pushed me to succeed inside and outside of class. Now, as an alumna and certified instructor for the program, my goal is to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience learning the art of boxing and how to be the healthiest version of themselves.

Keely -  Pink Gloves Boxing

I have a strong passion for fitness and for pushing people to be their best selves. Fitness has always been a passion of mine since i started dancing at two years old. Exercise is suppose to be fun and our class provides a fun, judgment free environment to work on yourself!

Take a step out of your comfort zone for a fun workout you’ll enjoy!

Marco

Zumba Fitness is a Latin inspired dance fitness, incorporating core fitness moves into a choreography among other world cultural rhythms. The goals of my class are to distract you while you have fun and work out. It is my job to help you break out of your shell and feel comfortable in your own skin!

Pam

In 2009 with 3 young children at home, I started my fitness journey running as an inexpensive, get out of the house activity. I completed 9 marathons over the next 6 years and then opted to focus on my nutrition, overall fitness and strength.  I found a passion for metabolic conditioning, Concept2, CrossFIt and everything in between. Eventually I gravitated to the sport of Powerlifting, and most currently Strongman. I have sought out certifications in Olympic Weightlifting and Personal Fitness Training. I am 54 years young and excited to join the WSU team of trainers to bring fresh programming, a positive and uplifting outlook, while promoting good form and technique, something I like to call Setting Up For Success.

Tabitha

For the past fifteen years I have been helping my community reach their health and fitness goals. My journey began with an injury as a consequence of poor training habits while training for my first of many marathons. It was during my physical therapy treatment that I became intrigued in the mind + body and its relationship with not only movement but health.

I became engulfed in all things fitness and athletic training with an emphasis on marathon training and found PIYO as a result. Since my journey began I have taught thousands of classes throughout New England and coached hundreds of runners to their first races.

Theo -  Pink Gloves Boxing

I always aim to help create a positive and fun environment where everyone feels welcome and comfortable trying new things. I’m looking forward to helping along your self confidence journey.
