Howland Tabbed MASCAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University’s junior forward Ashleigh Howland (Wilmington, Mass.), was tabbed the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s soccer player of the week as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.

 

Worcester State’s MASCAC Tournament MVP, Howland, scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute to give the Lancers the 2-1 MASCAC Tournament Championship win over Bridgewater State.

 

Howland currently leads the Lancers’ offense with 15 points, netting six goals and three assists.

 

The Lancers look forward to this upcoming weekend where they will travel to Geneva, N.Y. to face William Smith in a Saturday morning NCAA DIII women’s soccer tournament game.
