Title: Class of 1998

James Quinn '84 was an outstanding baseball player for the Lancers from 1981 to 1984 and finished his career with a .405 batting average, fifth best in Lancer baseball history. He also played tennis in 1984. Quinn was a captain of the baseball teams in 1982, 1983, and 1984 and twice was selected to play in the All New England baseball games at Fenway Park in 1983 and 1984.

He was selected second team All New England in 1983 and was selected All New England first team in 1984. He was also selected to the Converse All Star team in 1984. Jim hit .420 in 1983 and led his team to an excellent 15-8-1 record and a NCAA playoff game at Ithaca College.

He coached a Florida High School team to the state championship finals in 1989.

Jim is employed as a deputy sheriff in the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office.
