Curtis Degon '96
Title: Class of 2002

Curt Degon '96 was an outstanding ice hockey player for three years during the glory years of the Lancer hockey program. He scored 69 goals and had 72 assists for 141 career points, which put him 6'" as on the all-time scoring list. His leadership qualities were evident and he was named a teach captain for two straight years.

He won the ECAC Division III scoring title and was selected the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week five times. He was selected a 1st team ECAC All Star twice.

The Lancers competed in the post-season ECAC tournament for three straight years, winning the championship in 1973-74 and, reached the semi-finals in 1974-75 and were runner-ups in 1975-76. The Lancers competed against many of the hockey powerhouse teams during this year and had an outstanding 14-7 record during the championship season.

Curt was the recipient of the prestigious Mathew Hehir Memorial Award. He is employed in sales for A & E Distributions of Leominster.
