WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University women’s basketball team is set to host the 19th Annual “Nine and Dine” Golf Tournament at Blackstone National Golf Club on Sunday, October 4 at 3:30 p.m. as a part of their annual fundraising efforts.
The Lancers women’s basketball team would like to invite everyone out to meet players and coaches, while also enjoying an afternoon of golf.
The event costs $90 per person and includes nine holes of golf with card, dinner after the round, golfer packet with gifts, and unlimited use of the range. Following play, awards will be given out to the top female, male, and mixed teams, along with contests for closest to pin, longest drive, putting contest, and a chance to double your money.
If unable to attend the golf tournament, there are sponsorship needs as well. The sponsorship levels are as follows:
WNBA level - $200
- Free golfer in tournament
- Worcester State T-shirt
- Signed displayed on tee/green
NCAA level - $100
- Special thank-you gift
- Sign on tee/green
MASCAC level - $50
- Sign on tee/green
PREP level - $35
- Sign on 2 golf carts
The team is also looking for donations for raffle prizes.
