Lancers Hit Triple Digits in Win over the Moose in MaineNovember 17, 2024Worcester, MA- after a near comeback yesterday morning over Colby College, Worcester State Men’s Basketball (1-2,0-0) was back on the court in the tip-off classic to take on the University of Maine- Augusta is a Sunday morning matchup. Augusta faced Farmington yesterday morning in their opening round before making the trip to Colby to meet Worcester State on day two of the tournament.

Second Half Comeback Falls Short at ColbyNovember 16, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s basketball team (1-1, 0-0) heads off on their first overnight trip of the season this weekend with a jaunt up to Colby College to take on the Mules in the Colby Tip-off tournament. The Lancers will then take on the winner of the UMaine-Farmington and Augusta battle tomorrow.

Lancers Bested by Engineers on the RoadNovember 12, 2024Worcester, MA- The Lancers Men’s Basketball team (1-0, 0-0) coming in high off their last seconds victory on Friday over Roger Williams aim to make it 2-0 on the season as they take on perennial top contender WPI tonight at 7pm. Last two seasons have seen close matches between the two squads and have been a good early season test for both programs as they both turn their focus to grabbing a spot in the NCAA tournament.

Worcester State Men's Basketball Release 2024-25 ScheduleOctober 09, 2024Worcester, MA- First year Worcester State Men’s Basketball Coach Al Pettway is pleased to announce the 2024-25 Men’s Basketball Schedule. The Lancers are 2x back-to-back MASCAC Champions after defeating Bridgewater State in overtime last season. Pettway returns to Chandler Street after a hall of fame career, and championship of his own, to continue the winning path of the Blue and Gold. Returning to aid in the three-peat championship quest is senior’s Brandon Goris and Suubi Nkugwa who will lead a batch of talented returners and skilled newcomers to Brissette Court.
