Men's Golf Selected to Finish Sixth at GNAC Championships

WINTHROP, Mass. - Two days before the Worcester State University men's golf team hosts round one of the 2018 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships, they have been selected to finish sixth in the Championship Poll. The announcement came from the conference office on Thursday afternoon.

The Lancers received one of nine first place votes in the poll for a total of 39 points to jump into sixth place.

Topping the poll is reigning GNAC Champion Johnson & Wales, who received seven out of nine first place votes to claim the top spot with 79 points. Southern Maine finished in second, recording 66 points and claiming the final first place vote. The complete poll results are listed below.

The GNAC Championships tee off on Saturday from Blackstone National Golf Club in Sutton. First tee times are set for 10 a.m.
