Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Soccer team led by second year Head Coach Adam Howarth announce their 2025 slate of games. The Lancers finished last season with a 4-10-3 record and 2-2-3 in conference. Worcester fell in the quarterfinals to the fifth seeded Salem State Vikings. The Lancers look to return to the MASCAC Championship game this season and begun a new run in the NCAA tournament which fell short in 2022 at Stevens in the NCAA First Round. The Blue and Gold will be led by returning standouts (2025 Captains/Leaders) who have been integral and defining members of the program alongside a wealth of returning and incoming talent that looks to propel the team back to the top of the conference.

“We’ve strengthened an already solid core by adding quality across every position, while slightly trimming our roster size to stay sharp and competitive. The team had a fantastic spring-putting in a tremendous amount of hard work and building strong habits that will serve us well heading into summer” declares Howarth . “Every player knows the expectation: arrive in August fully fit, sharp, and ready to compete for their place in the lineup. I’m really excited to see what this group can accomplish this fall.”
