Worcester, MA --- After hitting .473 as a senior at Worcester State University, the second-highest average nationally in Division 3, Hudson’s Corey McDonald became just the fourth All-American in program history with his honorable-mention selection by D3baseball.com.

Babson Park, MA --- Senior teammates Corey McDonald and Nick Fluegge along with sophomore Shaun Slattery have each earned been honored on the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Coaches Association (NEIBA) baseball team in a vote by the regions coaches. McDonald has also been chosen to represent WSU at the senior all-star game.
New London, CT --- Third-seeded Worcester State was handed a 7-4 setback this evening by sixth seeded Coast Guard in the opening round of the ECAC Division III New England Tournament. Senior Corey McDonald was 3-for-3 with two runs scored in the setback for WSU.
Cape Cod, MA --- Worcester State has been selected as the third seed and will play on the road at #6 Coast Guard in this week’s upcoming ECAC Division III New England Baseball tournament. The contest, which will be on Wednesday at 3 PM, marks the first time that either opponent has played each other.
Westfield, MA --- Top-seeded Westfield State edged #2 Worcester State, 8-7, in the elimination game of the semifinal bracket, to advance to today's championship. Senior Paul Rodriguez was 3-for-6 with four RBI's while sophomore Chris Creen plated two more runs in the setback.
Westfield, MA --- Senior Bobby DeVito tossed a three-hit gem and senior Nick Fluegge went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run as second-seeded Worcester State defeated #4 Salem State this morning, 14-0, in the losers bracket game of the MASCAC Tournament semifinals.
Worcester, MA --- #3 Bridgewater State defeated second-seeded Worcester State, 18-5, this evening in the first round of the MASCAC Baseball Tournament. The Lancers will try to stave off elimination on Saturday morning at 9:30 at Westfield State against #4 Salem State.
Worcester, MA --- When Worcester State University senior pitcher Chad Kasik recalls his high school baseball career, one memory stands out above the others. In his junior season at Shepherd Hill Regional High School, Kasik was called upon to pinch hit in a blowout game in which his team was on the losing end against their hated rival, the Bartlett Indians.

Worcester, MA --- Worcester State and Mass Maritime drew a split this afternoon in MASCAC baseball action. The Lancers have cliniched the number two seed in the upcoming MASCAC Baseball Tournament and will play third-seeded Bridgewater State at 7 PM at Tivnan Field.
It didn’t take long for former Gardner High baseball standout Shaun Slattery to etch his name into the Worcester State University record books. Slattery, just a sophomore, recorded his seventh and eighth saves of the season in a doubleheader sweep of Fitchburg State University.
Fitchburg, MA --- Worcester State defeated Fitchburg State, 2-1 and 5-4, this afternoon in MASCAC baseball action. Sophomore Shaun Slattery recorded saves in both contests to eclipse the single-season mark that was set by Kevin Hayes last season. Slattery now has a school-record eight stops.
Bridgewater, MA --- Worcester State drew a split with conference rival Bridgewater State today as the Lancers took the first game 1-0 in ten innings while the Bears earned the 7-0 triumph in six innings. Senior Chad Kasik pitched eight scoreless frames in the first game while senior Paul Rodriguez was 4-for-6.

Framingham, MA --- Behind a pair of homers from senior Corey McDonald and a dominant game two pitching performance by junior Cruz Rosado, Worcester State defeated Framingham State twice on the road by scores of 7-4 and 3-1 this afternoon in MASCAC baseball action.
Worcester, MA --- Behind a pair of solid pitching performances by senior Chad Kasik and sophomore Nick Bonofiglio, Worcester State swept MCLA this afternoon, 4-2 and 6-0, in MASCAC baseball action. Bonofiglio posted a two-hitter in the second game as he would finish with four strikeouts.

Providence, RI --- Worcester State dropped a 13-5 decision to Rhode Island College this afternoon. The Lancers were led by senior Nick Fluegge who blasted his 23rd career homer in the loss. Fluegge is now all-alone in second place on the all time list of homers.
Westfield, MA --- Westfield State defeated Worcester State 8-2 in the opener before the Lancers came-from-behind to earn the 9-8 triumph over the Owls in the second game. Sophomore Nick Gezotis had the key two-run single in the bottom of the ninth for WSU in their victory.

Kasik fanned seven in six innings of work in a 4-3 triumph in the first game and DeVito would toss a two-hitter with four strikeouts in a 2-0 nightcap victory.
