MASCAC Announces 2024 Winter/Spring All-Academic Team
July 09, 2024Westfield, MA — A total of 1,005 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Winter/Spring 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann. -
Houlihan and Jacques Keep Pace at New England DIII Regionals
February 25, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Indoor Track and Field Team sent four athletes to this year’s New England DIII Regional held at the Track at the New Balance Center in Boston.

Lancers Land Top Marks at Pre-Postseason Invite
February 17, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Indoor Track and Field team hit the events today, competing in the Pre-Postseason Invitational hosted by Wheaton College. The meet is aimed at competitors attempting one of their final chances at qualifying marks for the regional tournament and NCAA Championships.

Jacques Leads Lancers at MASCAC Championship
February 10, 2024Worcester, MA- The Lancer Men’s Indoor Track and Field team came out ready to put their stamp on their season as they headed to Smith College for the MASCAC Championship hosted by Westfield State. Junior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) continued his success from last spring’s outdoor championship with a sprinting victory to lead the Lancers on the day.

Top Finishes Lead Path to Success at Panther Invite
February 03, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Track and Field team returned to action for their final meet before next week's MASCAC Championship hosted by Westfield State at Smith College. With numerous qualifying marks already recorded, the team went into today’s meet looking to grab some top marks, and new qualifications. As a team the Lancers would record 35 points on the day in a battle with top DII and DIII programs.

January 30, 2024Worcester, MA- Junior Brodie Jacques returns to the MASCAC weekly honors this week, being named MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the second week this season at the Wesleyan Indoor Invite.

Jacques and Boudreau Lead Men at Wesleyan Indoor Invite
January 27, 2024Worcester, MA- In the second week of action for 2024, the Lancers Men’s Track and Field was back down in Connecticut to compete in the Wesleyan Indoor Invitational down in Middletown, CT. The team made their presence known at Bacon Field House with numerous strong finishes from across a wide array of events. Junior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) grabbed two top finishes on the track and field, while sophomore Seth Boudreau (Douglas, MA) followed that double specialty track to top success.

Men's Indoor Track and Field Returns to action at Massasoit Classic
January 20, 2024Worcester, MA- The 2024 stretch of the Men’s Track and Field season kicked off today in Springfield at the Massasoit Classic. The team sent a skilled squad into action after being away from meets for over a month while on holiday break. Junior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) remained in top form over the stretch, helping to lead the Lancers in a number of events.

Lancers Go the Distance at Wesleyan Winter Invite
December 09, 2023Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Indoor Track and Field team returned to action after a successful meet last weekend that saw numerous top finishes. The Lancers looked to continue the success today at the Wesleyan Winter Invite as they close out their 2023 Indoor Meet schedule. The Lancers did not disappoint as they again had a number of top placements on the day.

Jacques Named MASCAC Rookie and Field Athlete of the Week
December 05, 2023Worcester, MA- In the opening weekend of the Men’s Indoor Track and Field Season, the team grabbed two weekly honors and a top national ranking from junior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA). The lancers opened their qualifier season at the Mary Grinaker Invitational at Smith College where Jacques ended the day with two first place finishes.

Lancers Grab Top Spots at Mary Grinaker Invitational
December 02, 2023Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Indoor Track and Field Team kicked off their season Saturday when they journeyed to Smith College for the Mary Grinaker Invitational. The Lancers looked to build on last season's success in both indoor and outdoor to get themselves in pace to qualify for the NCAA tournament in 2024. Continuing his outdoor success where he claimed three MASCAC Championships, junior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA) kept up his speed at Smith grabbing two top finishes.

Lancers Picked 3rd and 4th in MASCAC Preseason Track & Field Coaches Poll
November 29, 2023Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Track and Field teams were tabbed 3rd and 4th in this year?s MASCAC Preseason Coaches? Poll as voted on by the conference coaches. This year?s conference championship will be held on February 10 at Smith College after a hiatus post the 2021 cancelled season.
