Easton, MA --- Sophomore Alyssa Jasper was the runner-up in the javelin with a toss of 142-4 feet (43.39 meters) as she helped the Worcester State women’s track and field team tie for 10th on the second day of the Open New England Championships hosted by Stonehill.
Cambridge, MA --- Freshman standout Alyssa Jasper is in third place in the heptathlon with 2,428 points to help lead the Worcester State women's track team on the second day of the Division III New England Championships.
Springfield, MA --- Freshman Mara Kralian and sophomore Andrea Ouellette each reset their own school records while senior Mark Johnson earned All-ECAC honors as the Worcester State Lancers competed at the ECAC Championships this afternoon hosted by Springfield College. This meet wraps up the outdoor season for both squads.
Springfield, MA --- Freshman Mara Kralian led the Lancers as she was named All-New England in three events as the women’s outdoor track and field team tied for 16th with 13 points while the men were paced by senior Mark Johnson at the Division III Outdoor New England Championships on Saturday.
Worcester, MA --- This weekend both men’s and women’s outdoor track teams will compete at the New England Division III regionals hosted by Springfield College. The men’s squad looks to build off of the indoor season’s 11th place finish while freshman Mara Kralian and the women’s team hope to improve being tied for 18th in the indoor season.
Westfield, MA --- Freshman Mara Kralian clocked top finishes in the 100 meter dash and the 200 to break school marks while she also ran notched a first place performance in the long jump to help the Women’s Outdoor Track and Field team take second at the MASCAC Championships this past weekend. Kralian was honored as this weeks MASCAC women’s outdoor player of the week for her performance.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Freshman standout Mara Kralian has been selected as this week’s MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week after she helped Worcester State’s second place finish at the Slifen Invitational this past weekend.
New London, CT --- The Worcester State Lancers placed second with 131 total points at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College and were just edged by Rhode Island College who tallied 133.5 total points.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Sophomore Andrea Ouellette has been named the MASCAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for her school record breaking performance this past weekend at the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State.
Fitchburg, MA --- Sophomore Andrea Ouellette and freshman Mara Kralian broke a pair of school records with first place finishes as the women’s outdoor track and field team finished fifth out of 14 teams at the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State College.
