WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester State University women’s track & field team has been recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their academic accomplishments for the 2015-16 season, earning All-Academic Team Honors with an overall team GPA of a 3.34.

WAVERLY, Iowa – After a second place finish in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships last week, freshman javelin thrower, Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) grabbed a 14th place finish in the javelin throw at the NCAA Championships on Saturday (May 28) at the Waltson-Hoover Stadium.

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Worcester State University’s Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) was crowned the MASCAC and Alliance Champion in the javelin throw while Dalena Le (Worcester, Mass.) was the 400 Meter Hurdles Champion as the team placed 3rd in the MASCAC Championships and 7th in the Alliance on Saturday (Apr. 30) on the campus of UMass-Dartmouth.
The Westfield State men and Bridgewater State, Worcester State women look to repeat their success from last year as champions at the 2016 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field/New England Alliance Championships on April 30.

FITCHBURG, Mass. - Worcester State’s Dalena Le (Worcester, Mass.) was the winner of the 400 Meter Hurdles as she beat second place competitor by just .04 seconds at 1:07.07 on Saturday (Apr. 16) at the Eric Loeschner Invitational. With her markings, she qualifies for Division III New England’s. She also marked a sixth place finish in the women’s triple jump at 10.27m.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Worcester State’s Hanna Carson (Natick, Mass.), Molly Downing (Dedham, Mass.), and Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) stood out in their respective events, as the team overall placed 12th at American International College’s 6th Annual Yellow Jacket Invitational.
MEDFORD, Mass. – Freshman Stephanie McFadries (Burlington, Mass.) helped her team to a 5th place finish in the Tufts Snowflake Classic, as she earned a top spot in the javelin throw on Saturday (Apr. 2). McFadries marked a top throw of 34.88m, edging the second place contestant by 1.39m and qualifying for Division III New England’s in the event.
