New Orleans, LA --- Sophomore Mara Kralian has been named to the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team for her performance in the classroom. Kralian was one of 330 female student athletes tabbed to the squad.
Springfield, MA --- Sophomore Mercedes Arnold eclipsed her own record in the long jump for a second place finish at the ECAC Championships as the women's outdoor track and field team tied for 21st at the meet hosted by Springfield College.
Dedham, MA --- Sophomore Mercedes Arnold had a leap of 5.57 meters in the long jump to take home a top finish at the NEICAAA Championship's on Friday afternoon. On the first day the Lancers were also paced by a couple of strong sprint performances at the meet held at Northeastern University's Solomon Field that featured competition from Divisions I, II and III.
Medford, MA --- Sophomore Mercedes Arnold and junior Andrea Ouellette each earned All New England accolades to highlight the Womens Outdoor Track and Field team at the Division III New England meet this afternoon hosted by Tufts. WSC finished in 15th place with 14 team points.
North Dartmouth, MA --- Sophomore Mercedes Arnold eclipsed her own mark in the long jump (5.61 meters) and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships as she helped the Worcester State womens outdoor track and field team take home the top spot at the MASCAC Championships this afternoon.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Sophomore standout Mercedes Arnold has been selected this weeks womens track MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week for her performance in helping the Lancers take home the team title at the Connecticut College Silfen Invitational.
New London, CT --- Freshman Briana Wise along with sophomore teammates Leah Walczak and Mercedes Arnold all took home top finishes as they helped lead Worcester State to a first place finish at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Sophomore Leah Walczak has been selected the MASCAC Womens Track Athlete of the Week after she helped lead the Lancers this past weekend at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic. This is the first time in the outdoor season that she has captured weekly honors after she earned the accolade twice in the indoors.
North Dartmouth, MA --- Freshman Leah Walczak captured a pair of top finishes in the high jump and the 400 meter dash to help lead the Worcester State women's outdoor track and field team to a first place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Invitational. Sophomore Mercedes Arnold and Andrea Ouellette also added top finishes in the long jump and triple jump.
Buzzards Bay, MA --- Sophomore Mercedes Arnold has been tabbed as this weeks MASCAC Womens Field Athlete of the Week helping lead the Lancers to a fifth place finish at the Jim Sheehan Invitational this past weekend. For Arnold this is her second straight weekly outdoor award.
Fitchburg, MA --- The Worcester State womens outdoor track team smashed a trio of school records this afternoon at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational as they finished in fifth place out of 17 teams with 78 team points.

Both student-athletes were distinguished for their performance in the Lancers second-place team finish at last weekends Worcester City Meet.
