New London, CT --- Freshman Elijah Mawejje cleared first overall in the high jump (6-6/1.98m), placed second in the long jump (20-3.75/6.19m) and placed seventh in the 400 meter hurdles (59.01) to help pace Worcester State to second overall at the Conn College Silfen Invitational.
Fitchburg, MA --- Senior Matthew Begley eclipsed his own school mark with the top finish in the javelin throw to help propel the Worcester State men’s track and field team as the Jim Sheehan Invitational hosted by Fitchburg State.
Medford, MA --- Senior Matthew Begley won the javelin with an ECAC Division III qualifier and the 4x100 meter relay with senior Shaun Corum as the lead-off leg captured first overall as both helped pace the Worcester State men’s track and field team to ninth at the Tufts Snowflake Invitational.
