Boudreau Headlines MASCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship

Worcester, MA-The Worcester State University men’s indoor track & field team delivered a statement performance at the MASCAC Championship, hosted by Westfield State University at Wheaton College, finishing fourth overall with 71 points in a competitive conference field. Fueled by personal records, season bests, and podium finishes across the board, the Lancers showcased their depth, speed, and championship determination.

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State University women’s indoor track & field team delivered a strong showing at the MASCAC Indoor Track and Field Championship, hosted by Westfield State University at Wheaton College, earning a strong third-place finish with 118 points. Fueled by  personal records, season bests, and podium finishes across the board, the Lancers showcased their depth and competitive fire on the conference stage.

Lancers Fall to AMCTs in End of Season Bout

Worcester, MA- Coming off a third period 1-0 victory yesterday afternoon at the DCU center, the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team (14-8, 11-1) headed to Buffone for a back-to-back matchup with the AMCATs. With the one seed mathematically nearly secured, Worcester State was looking to close out the regular season with command as they began the shift to post season action in two weeks.

Worcester, MA- After a dominating win on Wednesday night over Framingham State, the Worcester State Men’s Basketball team (10-12, 8-3) aimed to solidify their control on the second seed in the post season tournament. Worcester claimed the win, 90-75, over Salem State back in January and a second win would provide a tie break should the teams end the season with the same records.

Lancers Battle Vikings, Fall in Final Quarter

Worcester, MA- In a crucial matchup on Saturday afternoon the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (9-13, 6-5) hosted Salem State in their annual Alumni game celebration game. Prior to the game the team honored graduate Kate Hurynowicz, class of 2025, for her 1,000th career points honors. The outcome of the afternoon game will likely be a crucial final seed indicator for the two teams with just two further games to play in the regular season.

Lancers Take Third Period Victory over AMCATs in Women in Sports Game

Worcester, MA- Looking to lock up the top seed in the MASCAC post season tournament, the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team (13-8, 1-01) hosted the Anna Maria AMCATs at the DCU Center. The game was played in conjunction with the Women in Sports game day hosted by the Worcester Railers. The Lancers kicked off the game day on the rink that would be followed up by the Railers hosting Trois-Riviers.

Worcester, MA- As the Lancers began to close out their regular season, they headed to Framingham State tonight for the Men’s Ice Hockey team (9-9-4, 2-6-3) to take on the Rams. Worcester previously defeated the Rams back at the start of December 5-1, and after an OT battle last Saturday, Worcester was focused on a regulation win.

Worcester, MA- With the first meeting of the season with the Rams coming down to a thriller of a finish, the Worcester State Men’s Basketball team (9-12, 7-3) focused on grabbing a much-needed win for the postseason seeding. The first meeting, which Worcester won 73-65, went down to the final moments before Worcester claimed the victory. Tonight, Worcester aimed to show more dominance on home court.

Worcester, MA- Looking to claim a home court advantage in the playoffs, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (9-12, 6-4) kicked off the week hosting the Framingham State Rams in one of their final four games of the regular season. In their last meeting the Rams claimed the 80-52 victory, an outcome the Lancers hoped to change. Tonight’s game was also played in honor of Play4Kay and the Rosen Cancer Awareness Fund.
