Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Baseball team, led by fourth year Head Coach Phil Price, MASCAC Coach of the Year last season, are pleased to announce their 2026 schedule. The Lancers, who finished last season 23-14, and 12-9 in conference, have power loaded their schedule with a number of top-ranking competitors. Worcester will be led by captains, Nathan Thurber (Framingham, MA), Nolan Turner (Barnstable, MA), Riggs Catlin (Dedham, MA) and Tyler Normandie (Lowell, MA), who are leading an impressive depth of new additions and returning strength on the mound, on the diamond and at the plate.
Worcester, MA- In what has grown into one of the most beloved and buzz-worthy traditions on the Worcester State Athletics calendar, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (4-8, 1-1) brought the excitement back to Brissette Court by hosting its 16th Annual Math Madness Game on Monday afternoon. The Lancers welcomed back a familiar foe in Emerson College for the second straight season, turning the matchup into another high-energy celebration of hoops and learning. Nearly 500 students from Tatnuck, Dual Language, and May Street Schools packed the stands, transforming the arena into a lively classroom where numbers met net, and every cheer made students feel like they were part of the action—true to the spirit of the Division III experience.
Worcester, MA- After hosting the Ravens at home last night the Lancers Men’s Ice Hockey team (6-5-3, 1-2-2) hit the road for a Saturday night battle with the Eagles of Post University.
Worcester, MA- After opening up the conference season on Wednesday with a hold off win over MCLA, the Worcester State Men’s Basketball team (3-9, 1-0) travelled to Westfield State for a season starting, crucial road conference battle with the Owls.
Worcester, MA- After a full participation team outing on Wednesday to open their MASCAC conference season at home, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (4-7, 1-0) now opened their road conference schedule with a trip to Westfield State.
Worcester, MA- In a return to action after a tough battle in the Codfish Bowl versus UMass Boston last week, the Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team (5-5-3, 1-2-2) hosted NE-10 foe Franklin Pierce at the Fidelity Bank Ice Center. Also in the balance of the outcome is Head Coach Bob Deraney’s hunt for his 350th career NCAA Head Coaching win.
