Worcester, MA- Looking to lock up the top seed in the MASCAC post season tournament, the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team (13-8, 1-01) hosted the Anna Maria AMCATs at the DCU Center. The game was played in conjunction with the Women in Sports game day hosted by the Worcester Railers. The Lancers kicked off the game day on the rink that would be followed up by the Railers hosting Trois-Riviers.
Worcester, MA- As the Lancers began to close out their regular season, they headed to Framingham State tonight for the Men’s Ice Hockey team (9-9-4, 2-6-3) to take on the Rams. Worcester previously defeated the Rams back at the start of December 5-1, and after an OT battle last Saturday, Worcester was focused on a regulation win.
Worcester, MA- With the first meeting of the season with the Rams coming down to a thriller of a finish, the Worcester State Men’s Basketball team (9-12, 7-3) focused on grabbing a much-needed win for the postseason seeding. The first meeting, which Worcester won 73-65, went down to the final moments before Worcester claimed the victory. Tonight, Worcester aimed to show more dominance on home court.
Worcester, MA- Looking to claim a home court advantage in the playoffs, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (9-12, 6-4) kicked off the week hosting the Framingham State Rams in one of their final four games of the regular season. In their last meeting the Rams claimed the 80-52 victory, an outcome the Lancers hoped to change. Tonight’s game was also played in honor of Play4Kay and the Rosen Cancer Awareness Fund.
Worcester, MA- After claiming their first-ever tournament title, Worcester State looks to repeat as the 2026 MASCAC Women’s Lacrosse Champions as voted on by the coaches around the league.
Worcester, MA- After a top notch meet on Friday at the CGA Bear Invite for the Women's Indoor Track and Field team, first year Jenna Lopez (West Springfield, MA) was picked this week's MASCAC Rookie of the Week.
