Worcester, MA- After a 1-1 week for the Lancers, senior Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) was tabbed as the MASCAC Defensive Player of the week in the second week of the Worcester State Women's Lacrosse season.

Worcester, MA- The Lancers Baseball team begins their 2026 season in a weather shifted outing versus Springfield College. Originally scheduled for Friday the 6th, Worcester managed to navigate the winter weather to squeeze in their first game prior to Spring Break versus the Pride.

Women's Lacrosse

Worcester, MA- After a decisive home opening win on Thursday, the Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0) jumped right back into action, this time journeying to Wheaton College.

Men's Outdoor Track

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Indoor Track and Field team wrapped up their season this afternoon with a showing at the NEICAAA, hosted at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

Women's Ice Hockey

Worcester, MA- For the fourth time in five seasons, and the first under the new conference creation, the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team (17-9, 10-2) headed to the conference championship and against a familiar foe in the Rivier Raiders (17-9, 9-4). The Lancers claimed the three of the last four Championships between the ECHA and MASCAC conferences while the Raiders have been the final opponent for Worcester the last three years. Rivier claimed the 1-0 win in the MASCAC semifinals last year to advance past Worcester State to the first ever MASCAC Championship, and now return for the third year in a row to the conference championship.

Men's Basketball

Worcester, MA- For the third time in four years the Worcester State Men’s basketball (15-12, 11-3) appeared in the NCAA tournament and again headed south for their matchup. This year the Blue and Gold traveled to Fredericksburg, VA to take on the pod hosts Mary Washington (24-3) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Eagles entered the game winning their last six games including claiming the Coast-to-Coast Conference Championship over Christopher Newport last Saturday.
