Worcester, MA- The Lancers, looking to wrap up their #1 seed in the MASCAC Regular season championship, took a trip to Paxton to face the Anna Maria AMCATs. Women’s Soccer (8-7-1, 6-1) controlled their own fates coming into the game with a win providing them hosting rights through the conference tournament.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Soccer team (8-6-1, 6-1) took on out-of-conference foe UMass-Dartmouth this morning in a senior morning celebration. The Lancers honor their two managers, Mallory Dupuis and Zoe Callahan alongside five senior honorees, Sophia Chandler (Worcester, MA), Ava Speidel (Luneburg, MA), Ella Tatarczuk (Bedford, MA), Addison Enos(Middleboro, MA) and Erin Condon (East Bridgewater, MA).
Worcester, MA- After holding for a crucial win over Salem State this past weekend, the Worcester State Women’s Soccer team has regained control of their own fate and claimed two MASCAC Player of the Week honors. Juniors Jessica Forbes (Clinton, MA) and Ella Gumienny (Doulas, MA) took home the honors for the Lancers. Forbes claimed Offensive Player of the Week while Gumienny took home her second Defensive Player of the Week.
Worcester, MA- Bouncing right back into action, the Worcester State Women’s Soccer team (7-6-1, 5-1) is looking to continue their conference success with a trip to Salem State. The Lancers are aiming to solidify their hold on a top two finish in the MASCAC in their second to last conference regular season game of the season.
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Soccer team (7-5-1, 5-1) returns to home field action for their last mid week regular season battle as they take on Eastern Connecticut State. The Lancers are looking to bounce back from a hard fought 1-0 loss to conference foe Westfield last weekend and recement their momentum before the final push of the regular season.
Worcester, MA- In a crucial post season seeding battle, the Worcester State Women’s Soccer team (7-4-1, 5-0) faces off with fellow top seed Westfield State. The previous meetings with Westfield have tended to go in the Owls favor, a trend the Lancers aim to end in the Saturday afternoon battle. Worcester State’s game today is also being played in honor of the Rosen Cancer Awareness Fund. The Rosen Cancer Awareness Fund, created by Gregg '86 and Pam '87 Rosen, aims to provide a robust curriculum that supports peer to peer education regarding early cancer detection. Raising awareness in our young people, particularly Worcester State students in the field of public health, can effectively expedite these important educational initiatives to curb the prevalence of late stage cancer and increase longevity.
