Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team (7-6-3, 1-3-2) is looking to add another win to their win column tonight with a quick trip to Auburn and the Horgan Arena to take on the AMCATs of Anna Maria in a crucial conference battle.

Worcester State Athletics Announces Creation of the Evan Armit 11 Fund

WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester State University and the Worcester State Athletics Department are honored to announce, in partnership with Teddy Bear Pools & Spas, the creation of the Evan Armit “11 Fund.” This fund will be a permanent endowment established at Worcester State University to honor the legacy of student-athlete Evan Armit, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 23 following a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma.

Worcester, MA- After holding for a crucial win over Salem State this past weekend, the Worcester State Women’s Soccer team has regained control of their own fate and claimed two MASCAC Player of the Week honors. Juniors Jessica Forbes (Clinton, MA) and Ella Gumienny (Doulas, MA) took home the honors for the Lancers. Forbes claimed Offensive Player of the Week while Gumienny took home her second Defensive Player of the Week.
