Women's Basketball

Worcester, MA- In a hotly anticipated MASCAC Quarterfinal meeting between the #5 seeded Worcester State Lancers (10-15, 7-7) and #4 seeded Salem State Vikings (12-13, 8-6), the two teams each looked to advance to the MASCAC semifinals on Friday. In their previous meetings the Vikings had claimed the wins both home and on the road, with the last meeting at Worcester State a tenacious battle that ultimately determined this final seeding.

Worcester, MA- After going 2-0 on the week and claiming the MASCAC Regular Season Title the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey claimed two weekly honors with senior Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) seventh Goalie of the Week and sophomore Emily Johns (Clinton, MA) taking home Player of the Week.

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey, after finishing the regular season’s final week 1-1 claimed the MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor as first year Myles Kidd (Norwood, MA) was tabbed for the honor.

Women's Ice Hockey

Worcester, MA- After locking up the MASCAC regular season title and the one seed in the post season tournament after a 1-0 victory in the road last night versus Salem State, the Worcester State Women’s Ice Hockey team (15-9, 9-2) returned to the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center for their senior day meeting with the Raiders. In their final game of the regular season the Lancers honored seniors Cailey Ryan (Acton, MA), Lea Gaspar (Chelmsford, MA), Olivia Fehl (Sergeant Bluff, IA) and Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) prior to the puck drop.

Worcester, MA- In the final game of the Lancers Men’s Basketball (12-12, 10-3) regular season, the Blue and Gold welcomed Bridgewater State to Brissette Court. With the post season seeding all but announced for Worcester State, who anticipate entering the conference tournament as the two seed, the pregame excitement centered around the team's senior day. Worcester honored their four seasons in Shawn Hebert (Ayer, MA), Ayme Daguilh (West Boylston, MA), Johnny Annan (Worcester, MA) and Jack Lasbury-Casey (Mansfield, MA).

Worcester, MA- With the final regular season game of the 2025-26 season, the Worcester State Women’s Basketball team (9-15, 6-7) hosted Bridgewater State in a game that would be crucial to determine their location for the quarterfinal round of the MASAC postseason tournament next Tuesday. The Lancers also celebrated their two seniors, Hannah Lomonaco (Northbridge, MA) and Erin Condon (East Bridgewater, MA), before tip-off.

Worcester, MA- With the final two games of the regular season upon the season, the Worcester State Lancers Women’s Ice Hockey (14-9, 8-2) is aimed to tie a bow on their first seed into playoffs in the night's meeting with Salem State. The Blue and Gold, coming into the weekend, just needed two points to grab possession of the top spot in the tournament. The Vikings and Lancers travelled into the game each holding a win on the other in the first a crucial weekend for Worcester.

Worcester, MA- In the final home regular season faceoff of the 2025-26 season, the Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team (9-10-4, 2-7-3) is battling for final seeding in the conference tournament that starts next Wednesday. Tonight’s meeting with Anna Maria also honored the two seniors of this year's class, as Niklas Byman (Sipoo, FN) and Anders Gronstad (Royal Oak, MI) were honored before the puck drop.

Softball

Worcester, MA- After winning the tournament title in 2025, Worcester State has been tabbed by the conference coaches to repeat as the 2026 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Champions. The Blue and Gold finished their season last year 27-14, falling in the NCAA Moravian Regional site to Eastern 6-4 in eight innings.
