Coach Steve Donovan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Worcester State University baseball coaching staff, as he has been instructing baseball in the U.S. and around the world for over 35 years.

 

His experiences include varsity high school baseball coach of Div. I Acton-Boxborough (10 years), (1986 Division I Coach of the Year), Littleton (6 years), and Junior Varsity at Westford Academy (5 years). He was the pitching coach for Div. II Merrimack College (3 years), Brandeis University and head coach of the 1993 AAU/ Junior Olympic New England Mariners (15U National Champions).

 

Coach Donovan has coached and run instructional programs in Holland, Australia, Great Britain, Spain and France.  

 

Coach Donovan has run highly successful camps and clinics in the surrounding communities since 1984 and is an instructor at a number of facilities in the area. He presently runs the AAU New England Wolfpac program and is coach of the North East Baseball U17 team.

 

Coach Donovan pitched for Div. II Springfield College and has competed in Holland, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy and Australia following his collegiate stint. Donovan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from Springfield College and his Master’s of Education in Human Movement from Boston University.
