Name, Image, and Likeness

On July 1, 2021, the NCAA passed legislation to allow its athletes the opportunity to benefit from their name, image, and likeness. All three NCAA divisions adopted a uniform, interim policy suspending NCAA name, image, and likeness rules for all incoming and current student-athletes in all sports.

Worcester State University and the MASCAC support these recently enacted provisions. Student-athletes are required to disclose all NIL activities to Worcester State University at least seven days prior to committing to said activities.
