John Coughlin Memorial Field

John F. Coughlin Memorial Field is a 2,000-seat artificial surface stadium located on the Worcester State University campus, and is home to the Lancer football, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, and women's lacrosse teams. The field is surrounded by an eight-lane track with jumping and throwing facilities, used by the Lancer track & field teams. The stadium has hosted numerous high school championship games in football, field hockey, and soccer, as well as the high school state track & field meet.

The stadium received a facelift in 2019, which saw the resurfacing of both the track and turf, installation of new state-of-the-art light and sound systems, and the addition of a scoreboard, complete with an LED message board that faces the Wellness Center Parking Lot. The turf surface was also extended past the north end zone, creating a “D-Zone” for Lancer varsity teams to warm up and cool down before and after practices and games.

Coughlin Field is handicap accessible, with a ramp to the bleachers and ample handicap seating available.

No dogs are allowed on the grounds.
