Women's Basketball Lands Two All-Conference Nods

WESTFIELD, Mass. - Two Worcester State University women's basketball student-athletes have received All-Conference honors from the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Senior Mya Mosley (Worcester, Mass.) earned MASCAC First Team All-Conference honors, while junior Gigi LeMay (Grafton, Mass.) garnered a Second Team All-Conference nod.

Mosley transferred into Worcester State from Division II Franklin Pierce for her senior season, and the move paid immediate dividends for the Lancers. Mosley ranked fourth in the MASCAC averaging 17.2 points per game, and added 25.7 points per game for the Lancers in the postseason. She was a two-time MASCAC Player of the Week, one-time Worcester Area College Basketball Association and NEWBA Player of the Week, and one-time NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll selection.

LeMay was a vital player for the Lancers off the bench this season. She averaged 9.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game despite averaging just shy of 20 minutes per game. In conference games, she upped her average to 11.2 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, She was a one-time NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll recipient, and scored a career-high 32 points in a contest against Westfield State on February 5.

Both players earn their first career All-Conference awards.
