Worcester State University Baseball Announces 2023 Schedule

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State University Baseball team, led by first year Head Coach Phil Price, has announced their 2023 slate of games for the Spring season. The Lancers look to continue their storied history of success behind the Price, with new additions on both the staff and the diamond. The team will see the return of pitcher Ben Smith, the NCAA Statistical leader in earned run average, along with a depth of new and returning talent to the Kevin D. Lyons Baseball Field.

"I can't express how excited I am to have the opportunity to coach at Worcester State and lead this group of players" says Price. "There are some hard-working players here that will make Worcester State University proud. Players who are addicted to competing in a way that inspires and motivates this staff. Between the talent of players and the skills of this staff - Coach Perry working with our pitchers, Coach Smith handling our position players and hitters and Coach Wigren who has been here 22 years, we have the makings of what will hopefully be a special season. It's going to be a good time to be a part of Lancer Nation."
