Coach Roberts enters his fourth season on the sidelines at Worcester State College as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach.

Coach Roberts, a 1995 graduate of Marist College, played on the MAAC championship team in 1994. Roberts also tried out for the New England Patriots and New York Jets as a placekicker and punter in the 1995-96 season.

In 2000 Roberts started his coaching career as the special teams coordinator and wide receivers at Curry College.  After moving to Stonehill College for the 2001 season, Coach Roberts spent two years as an assistant defensive backs coach at UMass-Amherst before serving as the special teams coordinator and wide recievers coach at Assumption in 2004.

In 2005 and 2006, Roberts was the special teams coordinator, the defensive backs and wide recievers coach at Becker. In 2006, the Hawks led all of Division III in punt return average (20.29 yards) and finished second in all divisions of college football.
