Megan Rosborough Selected Little East/ECAC Offensive Player of the Week

Worcester, MA --- Worcester State senior forward Megan Rosborough has been named Little East Conference and ECAC Northeast Offensive Player of the Week after she paced the Lancer's with seven points, which included two game winning goals in a 3-0 week for WSC.

Rosborough, a native of Uxbridge, MA, figured in both goals in a 2-0 win against Becker as she scored the decisive marker while adding an assist. Rosborough also handed out a pair of helpers in a 2-1 victory over Southern Maine and capped off her week with the game-winning tally against Bridgewater State to stretch Worcester State's current win streak to five.

On the season, Rosborough is tied with teammate Angela Johnson (Ashby, MA) for the team lead in goals (5) while she is alone for the team lead in assists with four. Rosborough, who has registered at least two points in her past five matches, has raised her season total to 13. She is second in the LEC in game winning goals with four.

Worcester State will play three games in the next week. On Tuesday they will travel to UMass Dartmouth for a 4 PM Little East matchup and then host New England College on Thursday at 7 PM. The Lancers will close out the week on Saturday with an 11 AM game against Salem State at home.
