Worcester, MA- Sophomore goalkeeper Madison Ferrara has been named the goalie of the week for the second week this season by the LEC conference.

Ferrara had a 2-1 week this past week, allowing only four goals in three games with 46 saves on the week for a 92% save percentage on the week. She recorded a career high 23 saves in a win versus Fitchburg St. on Saturday.

 In the middle of the week, Ferrara had a 14-save effort in a 2-1 non-conference win over cross-town rival WPI before racking up 23 saves in a 4-1 win over conference rival Fitchburg State Saturday. Ferrara opened the week stopping nine shots in a 2-1 setback to Wheaton (Mass.). She leads the LEC in saves (78) and save percentage (.886) this season, while ranking second in goals against average (1.32).
