Ferrara named Goalie of the Week for Third Time

Worcester, MA- Sophomore goalkeeper Madison Ferrara has been named the goalie of the week for the third time this season after a 2-0 LEC conference week that saw Worcester State defeat Keene St. and Eastern Conn.

Ferrara allowed only three goals during the two games with 19 saves on the week for a 86% save percentage on the week. 

To start the week, Ferrara had a 12-save effort in a 3-2 conference win over one of the top teams in the conference, Keene St, before adding an additional 7 saves in a 2-1 win over Eastern Conn State Saturday. She leads the LEC in saves (147) and sits in second in save percentage (.840) and goals against average (1.74).

Ferrara and the Lancers are back in action on Tuesday night, October 25, when they take on Bridgewater State, the game will also serve as the teams Senior Night. Pass back is set for 7pm.
