Providence, RI --- Junior captain Bob Bruso (Auburn, MA) earned his second straight medalist honor as he shot a 76 (+4) on the par 72 Triggs Memorial Golf Course at the Rhode Island College spring invitational this afternoon. Bruso tied for top honors earlier this week at the MASCAC Championships.
The host Anchormen won the meet with a score of 326 (+38) followed by Elms (332; +44), Tufts (338; +50) while the Lancers came in fourth as they were 24 off the lead with a 350 (+62).
The other finishers for WSC included senior Mike Leveroni (Arlington, MA) who carded 14th with a score of 90 (+18), junior Mike Horan (Billerica, MA) who tied for 15th (91; +19), freshman Chris Ellis (Charlton, MA) who placed 17th (93; +21) and Brian Gulino who tied for 18th (96; +24).
Worcester State completes their spring season next Friday when they head to Elms for the Blazer Spring Invitational next Friday.
