Westfield, MA --- Senior Bob Bruso (Auburn, MA) carded a low round of 73 (+2) at the Westfield State Invitational which was played this afternoon at the par 71 Tekoa Country Club. The Lancers finished in third place overall as a team with a total of 340 strokes.
MCLA took home the team trophy as they tallied 329 followed by Westfield State's total of 339 while Holyoke Community College shot 403.
Sophomore Chris Ellis (Charlton, MA/St. Peter-Marian) also recorded a 87 (+16) while junior Connor Hibbard (Brookline, MA) added an 89 (+18). Senior Brian Gulino (Brookline, MA) tallied a 91 (+20) while senior Chris Brunelle (Worcester, MA/Holy Name) was one shot off with a 92 (+21)
Worcester State will end their three-tournament stretch when they stay local and head to Greenhill Country Club for the Nichols Bison Invitational.
