Tetreault, Dunham Help Pace Men's In Win Over Local Rival Becker

 

Leicester, MA --- Freshman Brett Tetreault (Webster, MA) carded a 38 (+4) at the Leicester Country Club for medalist honors to help lead Worcester State to a 17 stroke victory over Becker in a collegiate men's golf dual meet this afternoon.

The Lancer four fired off a total of 163 over the front nine at Leicester which carried a par 34. The Hawks finished the competition, which was shortened due to inclement weather, with a team score of 180. 

Senior Ryan Benson (Methuen, MA) was one stroke away from tying the top spot with a 39 (+5) while WSU junior Bryan Dunham (Tolland, CT) was right behind in third with a 40 (+6).

Becker sophomore Brittan Morris (Cedar Park, TX) was also among the top four (41; +7) followed by first-year classmates John Kewley (Auburn, MA) who placed fifth (42; +8) and Pat Miller (Auburn, MA) who finished sixth (43; +9).

Hawk sophomore Justin McCloud (Greenfield, MA) and Jon Cirone rounded out the field with seventh (45; +11) and eighth (55; +21), respectively.
