NORTH WINDAM, Conn. - The Worcester State University men's golf team competed today at The Windham Club in the Warrior Invitational and finished in 5th place.

Eastern Connecticut State won the championship with a team score of 299.

Senior, Will Sjogren (Auburn, Mass.) shot Worcester State's low round of the day with a 13-over 85 to finish in 12^th place overall. In addition, senior Blake Thorne (Bridgewater, Mass.) shot a 92 and first year Mike Stone (Lakeville, Mass.) finished with a 93 to pace the Lancers.

Worcester State will next hit the links on October 4-5^th at the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at the Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield, Mass.
