Willimantic, CT - The Worcester State University men's golf team competed Sunday at The Windham Club in North Windham, CT and competed in the Thread City Invitational and finished in 7th place in the 13 team, 63 player field.

Eastern Connecticut won the championship with a team score of 298.  The Lancers finished with a team score of 345.

First Year Jack Ryan (Wakefield, MA) shot Worcester State's low round of the day with an 82 to finish tied for 16^th place overall.  Senior Jake Poitras (Harwich, MA) shot an 86 and Sophomore Patrick Rennie (Bridgewater, MA) finished with an 88. Junior Max Joiner (Great Barrington, MA) shot an 89.

This tournament completes the 2021-22 season for the Lancers.
