Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men's Golf team returned to competition this weekend when they took to the course at the Roger Williams Invitational. Originally scheduled as a Sunday showdown, the rain forced a move of the tournament to Monday. The Lancers recorded a team of 351 in the one-day tournament, with sophomore Jack Ryan (Wakefield, MA) scoring an 81 for 12 place at the tournament.

Scoring along with Ryan in the event was senior Max Joyner (Great Barrington, MA) who recorded a 86 for 21^st, senior Charles Fasold (Grafton, MA) recorded a 91 for 22^nd, junior Patrick Rennie (Bridgewater, MA) notched a 93 for 23^rd while sophomore Cam McLaughlin (Wakefield, MA) rounded out the five score total with a 25^th place finish in the tournament.

The Lancers return to action on Wednesday when they host the Rich Korzec Invitational at the Blackstone Country Club.
