Score: MIT 2, Worcester State 1

Records: MIT (6-6-4) | Worcester State (9-7)

1ST HALF

Worcester State scored the game's first goal 26:19 into the opening stanza. Dillon Pooler (Southampton, Mass.) lined up for a free kick on the right side of the field and found the head of Matthew Dent (Ludlow, Mass.), who registered his fourth goal of the year, as he tucked the ball just inside the left post for the 1-0 lead.

MIT would have to wait until there was 27-seconds remaining in the first half to score the equalizer. Freshman Loukas Carayannopoulos (Westfield, N.J.) took a throw in from deep in Worcester State territory, it bounced off the head of a defender and landed at the feet of Wilson, who shot the ball past Lancers goalkeeper Henri Guilmette (Franklin, Mass.) to tie the game at 1-1 at the break.

2ND HALF

The game would remain tied at 1-1 until there was just 15 seconds remaining in regulation. Wilson was awarded a free kick from about 30 yards away as clock was running and fired the ball into the left side of the net to give MIT the 2-1 non-conference victory.
