• Three Track Student-Athletes Grab Honors On Day Two of ECAC Championships

    Northampton, MA --- Sophomore's Nate Starling and Mercedes Arnold along with freshman Briana Wise each placed in the top eight to earn All-ECAC honors in their respective events on day two of the ECAC Indoor Championships, hosted by Smith College.

    Boston, MA --- Sophomore Mercedes Arnold notched NEICAAA honors in the long jump with an eighth place finish before she provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in the triple jump as she helped lead the women's indoor track and field team at the All-New England Championships. Briana Wise also eclipsed the school mark in the 200 meters.
  • Men's Track Takes Home 17th At Division III New England Championships

    Lewiston, ME --- Sophomore Nate Starling clocked fourth with a time of 7.92 to help lead the men’s indoor track and field team to a 17th place finish at the Division III New England Championships at Bates College. Second-year Ian Fields grabbed All-New England accolades in the high jump while junior RJ Stahelski eclipsed the school record in the 600.

    Gorham, ME --- Sophomore Nate Starling captured the 55 meter hurdle title while senior captain Matt Leeds added a first place finish in the long jump as they helped lead the Men's Indoor Track team to a third place finish at the MASCAC Championships this afternoon.

    Northampton, MA --- Sophomore Nate Starling clocked second in the 55 meter hurdles (7.85) fourth in the 55 meter dash (6.66) and tied for 10th in the 200 (24.12) to help lead the Worcester State men’s indoor track team to a sixth place finish at the Tartan Invitational hosted by Smith College. Sophomore Ian Fields (pictured) also added first in the high jump for WSC.
  • Lancers Finish Third at Southern Maine Invitational

    Gorham, ME --- Junior classmates Nate Starling and RJ Stahelski along with freshman Tim Mazeika (pictured) each took the top spot in three events to help pace the Worcester State men’s indoor track and field team to a third place finish out of six teams at the Southern Maine Invitational. Stahelski's time in the 600 broke the school record in the event.

    Norton, MA --- Strong performances in the field highlighted by first place finishes by senior teammates Jim Macera and Matt Leeds in the weight throw and long jump, respectively, helped the Worcester State men's indoor track team finish fifth at the Wheaton Invitational.

    Medford, MA --- Sophomore Nate Starling had a pair top finishes to help pace the Worcester State men’s indoor track team’s at the Tufts Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Lancers tallied 58 points to take home fifth place out of eight teams at the meet.
