Lancers Men's Cross Country Finish Second at Framingham State Invitational

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men's Cross-Country team returned to action on a chilled Saturday morning as they headed to the first ever Framingham State Invitational, as they competed on the 8K course. The Lancers finished the meet in second place, recording a point total of 43 points to grab the top finish.

First year Jacksen Bolduc (Auburn, MA) crossed in a brisk 30:27.39 to grab not only the top finish for the Lancers but was the third overall runner to cross the finish line. Grabbing the fourth overall finish was junior Matt Talbot (Belchertown, MA), who completed his race in a time of 31:03.27. Rounding out the top 10 finishers was sophomore Alex Matsuyasu (Newton, MA) who recorded a time of 32:42.26. Fellow sophomores William Demers (Sutton, MA) and Andrew Stokes (Wilmington, MA) were the final scores to come across for the Lancers with Demers finishing in a time of 33:08.99 and Stokes nearly 30 seconds behind at a time of 33:36.83.

Worcester State returns to the course on October 7th when they attend the James Earley Invitational.
