Worcester, MA- Three Worcester State Cross Country teams travelled to New Hampshire today to compete in the NCAA Regional Qualifier hosted by Suffolk University this afternoon. Junior Matt Talbot (Belchertown, MA), sophomore Alexander Matsuyasu (Newton, MA) and sophomore Claudia Symonick (Auburn, MA) each raced against some of the top runners in the country.

Talbot claimed the 152^nd spot in the men's 8k race coming in with a time of 29:21.75 while Matsuyasu finished in 185^th in a time of 31:05.94. Symonick finished her 6k race in a time of 29:30.92 for the 185^th spot for the women.

While the cross-country team has now concluded their season, many of the distance runners will be back in action this winter as they compete with the Indoor Track and Field Team with their first meet scheduled for December 2^nd.
