Worcester State Women Lose To Lady Vikings, 66-55

Salem, MA --- The Lady Vikings received a game-high 29 points from sophomore center Danielle Jenkins (Marlborough, MA) and 13 points from senior guard Michelle Gosselin (Underhill Center, VT) en route to a 66-55 victory over the Worcester State College Lancers in a Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) game played this afternoon at James Twohig Gymnasium.

SSC (14-4 overall; 5-1 MASCAC) led 27-22 at the break. Jenkins paced the second half charge for the Lady Vikings, scoring 17 points and collecting all of her team-high eight rebounds, including seven off the offensive glass. Gosselin contributed seven boards for the winners as did senior forward Lindsey Watkins (Wareham, MA).

The Lancers (5-13 overall; 3-3 MASCAC) received 13 points each from Maureen Lemay and Alexis George. Lemay grabbed a game-high nine boards for the visitors.
