Worcester, MA --- On October 25 at 7:30 PM, the Worcester State women's basketball team along with the WSU Athletics and Alumni departments are hosting an evening that features a round-table discussion with US Olympic and University of Connecticut women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma, 800 win and Bentley University women's basketball coach Barbara Stevens and 2010-11 Division III National Champion Amherst College women's basketball coach G.P. Gromacki.

The event will be held in the Sullivan Auditorium. The panel and interactive discussion includes conversations on winning, motivation and being successful on and off the court. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, $75 for teams (12+ players and coaches) and free for WSU students and employees with an ID.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) is also co-sponsoring the event. Worcester State University will also be recognizing former WSU women's basketball player Barbara Cherecwich ’79 and her Mass Miracles Team, which won the Gold Medal at the 2011 National Senior Games.
