Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women's Ice Hockey team travelled across town to take on the Assumption University Women's Ice Hockey team in a ECHA conference matchup. The Lancers looked to remain undefeated in conference play this season, in defense of their championship last season, and continue their conference undefeated streak to 11-0.
The Lancers were dominant on the evening, defeating the Greyhounds for the second day in a row, off the hat trick performance of senior Cassidhe Wozniak (Turner Falls, MA), whose three goals helped the Lancers defeat Assumption with a final score of 4-2 at Buffone Skating Rink.
Worcester State ends the night at (12-6-1, 3-0) and return to action next Friday night when they take a weekend trip to Wilkes for a 5pm start.
