WORCESTER, Mass. – Worcester State University's freshman midfielder, Cate Farmer (Billerica, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) rookie of the week, as announced by the conference on Monday (Oct. 10).

Farmer tallied a goal and an assist in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. She scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 shutout over MCLA and added an assist in the 5-2 setback to Keene State College.

So far this season, Farmer has totaled two goals and two assists for a total of six points.

The Lancers next game is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 15) when they travel to Westfield State for a 12 noon game.
