WORCESTER, Mass. – Five Worcester State University women's soccer players have been named to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's soccer All-Conference teams, as announced by the league Wednesday (Nov. 8) morning.

Worcester State University's senior back Justine Butler (Marlboro, Mass.) landed a spot on the MASCAC first team. The Lancers led the conference with a 0.87 goals against average and 17 goals against which Butler was a key contributor to. While she was a standout in the backfield, Butler managed to help her team offensively with five goals and one assist for 11 points on the season.

Four Lancers were named to the All-Conference second team: freshman midfielder Maddie Fong (Norton, Mass.), junior midfielder Jenna Martin (Salem, N.H.), junior midfielder Tsara LeBlanc (Gardner, Mass.) and sophomore forward Kaitlin Beluzo (East Longmeadow, Mass.).

Fong not only led the team in assists, but also the conference with 10 on the year. She was also a two-time MASCAC women's soccer rookie of the week recipient this season. Martin and LeBlanc assisted the Lancers in the midfield, as they tallied five and four goals, respectively.

Beluzo led the Lancers' offense with nine goals and two assists for 20 points on the season. She finished the season with a .580 shot on goal percentage and scored 4-of-12 game-winning goals for the Blue and Gold.  She was ranked first in the conference in game-winners.

The major award winners for the MASCAC this season were Bella Eduardo (Springfield, Mass.), Lydia Kinsman (Granville, Mass.) and Nicolle Wood. Eduardo was tabbed the MASCAC Player of the Year, while Kinsman earned the MASCAC Rookie of the Year award. Salem State's head coach, Wood, was named the Champion's Choice Coach of the Year.
