MEDFORD, Mass. – Worcester State University's Hanna Carson (Natick, Mass.) and Molly Downing (Dedham, Mass.) both qualified for NCAA Division III New England's at the Tufts Invitational #1 in the shot put and weight throw, respectively.

Carson threw for 12.32m on the shot put, placing 2nd out of the top nine collegians to finals. She not only qualified for DIII's but also for ECAC's. Downing came in first in the weight throw, throwing for a distance of 13.93m in the finals.

Also qualifying for Division III New England's was the women's team for the 4x200 relay, and also for the 4x800 relay. Freshman Tsara LeBlanc (Gardner, Mass.), Dalena Le (Worcester, Mass.), Nichole Tillery (Auburn, Mass.), and Emily Visconti (N.
