MEDFORD, Mass. – Worcester State University's junior Abigail Danso (Worcester, Mass.) marked a time of 9.43, good for third place, in the 60 Meter Hurdles on Saturday at the Tufts Invitational #1 to qualify for All Division New England's.

Danso already qualified for Division III New England's at the UMass Boston back in December, and currently stands at 10^th place in all of NCAA Division III.

The Lancers' Elizabeth McCormack (Gloucester, Mass.) led the team in the throwing events, as she placed fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 13.05m, and came in eighth in the shot put with a top throw of 9.77m.

Freshman Rachel Stier (Mansfield, Mass.) claimed third place in the 400 Meter Dash in a time of 1:02.67, and then led the team in the 200 Meter Dash in a time of 28.18.

Worcester State's Justine Murdocca (Milford, Mass.) came in fourth in the 3000 Meter Run in a time of 11:30.32. Sophomore Laura DelleChiaie (Haverhill, Mass.) followed with a time of 12:15.34 at eighth place.

Next weekend, the Lancers travel to Springfield College for the Springfield Invitational #2.
