WSU took home the first two sets (25-22 and 25-17) before the Lasers rallied to take the next two (25-23 and 25-21). But ultimately, Worcester State prevailed in the final set, 15-12.

The Blue and Gold (10-8) were also led by sophomore Ali Remigio (Tewksbury, MA) who added 11 kills in 22 attempts with just one error while freshman Kaylee Leduc (Swansea, MA) established a new single-game school record with 42 digs.

After four thrilling sets, Lasell looked like they were in prime position with the 10-8 lead in the final stanza. But Lebel registered three kills in a 6-2 run by Worcester State for the 14-11 advantage.

The Lasers scored one more time to get within striking distance, but Lebel ended the match with a kill to clinch things for WSU.
