Worcester State Volleyball to Host “Volleyball For Maddie”

The Worcester State University Women's Volleyball Team presents "Volleyball for Maddie," a Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness Game. The team will host Anna Maria College for this "Orange Out" matchup on Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lancer Gymnasium.

"Volleyball for Maddie" is a game dedicated to the late Madeline "Maddie" Credit, mother of Worcester State University's Women's Volleyball Coach Bernie Chase. Ms. Credit passed away during the fall of 2016. This game has been put together in her honor to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Fans are asked to wear orange to help support the cause. Throughout the game, there will be t-shirts, bracelets and pins for sale. There will also be a 50-50 raffle, with a winner being drawn before the start of the third game. All proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
