Lancers Complete Comeback from Two Sets Down to Defeat Rams in Pivotal MASCAC Victory

Worcester, MA- Coming off a conference win at Mass Maritime over the weekend, Worcester State looked to add to their conference win tally on the road at Framingham State on Wednesday evening. This was a crucial game for the Lancers, as a victory this evening would put them in solid position to vie for the number two seed in postseason play in the conference finale versus MCLA on November 4th.

Final Score : Worcester State: 3 Framingham State: 2

Recap:

The Lancers were off to a bit of a sluggish start, dropping the first two sets 25-19, and 25-23. In the fifth and final set, Worcester State looked comfortable and in control as they completed the three set comeback and won the fifth set 15-8, and sealed the season sweep over the Rams, who they traveled to see earlier in the season in a non-conference square up.
