Senior captain Kasey Clark (Dudley, MA) took first overall at the Community College of Rhode Island, Tri-State Invitational. Clark had a strong kick in the final 20 meters to capture a photo finish, first overall placement. This marked Clark's first collegiate cross country win. 

Running 2nd for the Lancers junior Erica Hanlon (Shrewsbury, MA). Hanlon finished 8th overall to medal in a competitive field. Junior Caitlin Conneely (Tewksbury, MA) finished 3rd for the Lancers, with a 13th overall finish and Cass Lefferts (Palmer, MA) rounded out the top four for the team with a 22nd overall finish. 

The Worcester State women's cross country team will race again on Saturday, October 9th at Westfield State - Stanley Park.
