Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women's Cross-Country team traveled to Westfield State to compete in the annual James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State. The 6K course saw over 200 entrants in the day's events.
Sophomore Leah Berg (Worcester, MA) returned to action today, leading the trio of Lancers with a time of 27:18.06, and the 110th runner on the day. Crossing second for the blue and gold was first year Claudia Symonick (Auburn, MA), who finished in a time of 30:53.34. Trailed just forty seconds behind was sophomore Jillian McMenemy (Westborough, MA), who finished in a time of 31:30.82 for Worcester State.
The Lancers return to action next Saturday when they travel to Suffolk University to compete in the Suffolk Invitational.
