Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women's Cross Country had a late afternoon meet Saturday, traveling to Suffolk University for the Suffolk Invitational. The Lancers were coming out fresh with a 1:30pm start for the day's meet.

Sophomore Leah Berg (Worcester, MA) continued her streak for the Lancers, crossing in 113^th to set the pace as the first of the Lancer trio to cross the finish line. Berg crossed in a speedy time of 27:23. As has become the norm, for the Lancers sophomore Claudia Symonick (Auburn, MA) was close on Berg's heals with a 164^th place finish in a time of 30:12. Wrapping up the action for the Lancers was sophomore Jillian McMenemy (Westborough, MA) who finished in a time of 32:06 for 189^th on the day.

The Lancers will return to action on Friday October 27^th, when they compete in the MASCAC Championship to be held in Deven, MA. Their currently scheduled race time is 12:30pm.
